Past Two Weeks

So I don't remember everything that has happened in the past two weeks. But here is what I do remember of it. Last week Matt and I bought almost all of our Christmas presents for everyone. Matt bought and installed a radio in my car, and I LOVE it! It's wonderful! Saturday we went to a seminar and it was great! We had fun! Matt and I are doing great! This past week we have had dinner with Pastor Robert at Red Robins, and talked for a good hour or so. It was good to be back in Jenison/Grandville. Last night I went and hung out with Allura. Been a while since I've seen her. It was fun! Sorry I don't have any pictures for this week, didnt really take any. Also Matt and I have kind of put up our Christmas things. We bought a tree and its up, and the kittens love it! Maybe a little too much... The cats are due for their second shots, so we will be doing that next week. Oh! I'm sure you've all kind of noticed that it's snowing. Jenison got it bad, but where we are grass is still peeking through and it's melting. At least it did today.. Matt got another job for the weekend, at Arbys. YES the one that I work at. So we shall see how that goes! I'm excited! So, sorry that is all I have for now. It's not much but I don't remember if anything else has happened.. haha. I'm sure there has. So tata for now!

Fun Filled Week

So this week has been with a few fun, interesting, "bad" things. So Matt and I are back into the business LIFE and we missed the major and the Tuesday meeting. I started closing this week (it's a pain in the butt...) and that is the reason why we missed the Tuesday. We go together to all the meetings and this week because I worked 5pm-2am it didn't happen and Matt didn't want to go without me. I close tomorrow too, 5-3 I am honestly not looking forward to it because it's Halloween and it's supposed to be really slow with a dinner rush. 
We have found a new "game" with the cats when we put them to bed in their room. It's so fun! 

Last week Friday I also brought the cats to get their shots. (FINALLY!!) I think they enjoyed it a little too much. The vet said they haven't seen a cat as friendly and as athletic as Spartan and jumping right out of his cat carrier and then jumping right on the counter where he laid on his back and let them pet him and everything. Where as Coco was more shy and she didn't want to get out of the cat carrier. She finally warmed up to them when the vets gave the kittens some treats and Coco gobbled down the treats right away where Spartan was more suspicious.

 

I also gave Matt a haircut so he has really short hair. I also got a hair cut and my hair dyed. My friend Allison Buys needed a model for work, so she asked me. I chopped off my hair to how I had it in my junior year of high school, and I had her dye it pure black, instead of the off black I had form the store bought dye. It looks soooo much better! Now all I want are my blue tips!Here are before and after pictures:

Since it has been really nice out, besides the past couple days, Matt and I have been leaving the slider door open and getting some fresh air in the apartment. The cats LOVED it! They wouldn't leave the door. They were mesmerized by the leaves falling from the roof and the trees. It was pretty entertaining.

The past week

Matt and I have gone on two dates. One was to Qdoba just for a fun night out, and he bought me flowers and some chocolate covered caramel! It was so tasty! The other one was to Dennys because I had cleaned the whole apartment so we treated ourselves.

The picture above is when we are at Dennys. The two drinks infront of me are strawberry lemonade and mango lemonade. The waiter had accidently made me the wrong Lemonade. They were both pretty tasty! The picture below are the flowers Matt bought me. The kittens kept on knocking them over so they are now in the bedroom. I got pretty ticked off at the cats that I put them in time out... Hehe..

On Saturday Matt work 8-6 at Toyota and 7-1am at Radioshack. Since he worked for so long I decided to make him a HUGE breakfast. It consisted of eggs sausage English muffin and some hot tea. He sure enjoyed that! Another news about our life, is I turned down the promotion to be a manager until I know more about what I'm supposed to do and how to do it. So my manager is going to teach me the routine and what I will have to do but I will not take the job for another 6-12 months. I have also been helping Matts sister Alyson find a couple cats. The kittens would be "relatives" of my kittens. (: All we gotta do is okay it with Alyson to which cats she wants, and okay to the current owner of the cats. Matt also met up with a mentor so we can get our finances a little better and see what we can do to better our life. So that is what is up with our life in the past week. Until next time!!

Tiffy

On Friday, Matt and I went to art prize with my siblings and my dad. We saw some pretty cool stuff my favorite was a picture of a zebra (up close painting of the zebras face) and in the eye of the zebra you could see a rhino. It was so cool! Another was of a girl. It looked like a photograph! It was awesome!!

 

We had a really great time! I wasn't feeling very good I have had this bad cold all week, so art prize was definitely a high light of the week.

Matt had promised me we would go to Art prize and we finally did and it was fun! I'm glad I got to see my family again. So on another note, Spartan, or black and white cat, ran out of our apartment. It was kinda funny, once he realized he was out of the apartment in a hallway that smelled funny to him, and freaked out and ran back inside of our apt. So he learned his lesson.

About Matt and I

Alright, so this all started in the last month of junior year that we started dating. We met through a friend from tech center my junior year. We spent one month seeing each other non stop whenever I was out of school and he was out of work at Toyota we would hang out. Until my 18th birthday came around and I wanted to go down to Kentucky to see my brother Andrew. Matt and I dated had our rough patches but we always worked it out one way or another. Senior year day after Valentines Day, Matt and I went to BD's Magolian Grill (or however you spell it), and after our dinner we went out to the car and he proposed!! It was so great! We decided however we probably weren't completely ready for that move so we kept it quiet for a while. Once we made it official, in October of 2013, it was all wedding planning. June 7th came and that was the day!! Now its been 4 months since that day. 

Our Honeymoon:
We went to Tennessee for our honeymoon and we had our own cabin away from everyone else about 20 minutes from Gatlinburg! It was perfect! he did a great job planning it! 

Matt and I now live in Grand Rapids. He has a full time job at Toyota and during the weekends he works at Radio Shack. I on the other had no longer work at GFS Marketplace, instead I work at Arbys, hopefully will be manager soon. *fingers crossed*... We have two kittens, they are my babies, though they tick off Matt most of the time. Their names are Spartan and Coco.
